A bit about me

Scientist to Designer

My inquisitive and curious nature led me into pursuing a successful career in Clinical Microbiology in Sydney then in Research & Development in a start-up company in Switzerland. This career path presented me with opportunities to explore the "why’s" while gaining valuable skills, such as analysing data, research, cross-team collaboration, while being empathetic towards the patients, the end-users of this field. I’m continuing to use all of these skills in my UX/UI career and looking forward to further developing them by working closer to the end user to improve their experiences.

Outside of Work I...

I love to Hike

Hike

I find that hiking in nature is not only a great way to stretch my legs after sitting front of the laptop for long periods of time but it offers a source of inspiration, stress relief and a chance to hone my problem-solving skills when faced with unexpected challenges that nature may present.

I love to Oil paint

Oil paint

I have been painting for many years now, mostly landscapes but would love to try painting portraits in the near future.

It's amazing how painting can be both a calming meditation and an engaging challenge at the same time. I find it incredibly rewarding to put in the effort and see a masterpiece come to life on the canvas.

Travel

Travelling has benefited me by broadening my perspectives, providing me with opportunities like studying and working overseas, collaborating with other professionals, inspiring my creativity and developing my empathy towards people from different cultures.
